Working principle of MRF shredder:
Shearing principle: Through two or more relatively rotating knife shafts, with blades installed on them, the material enters the area between the knife shafts and is cut by the blades like scissors. For example, the common double-shaft shredder uses this principle to cut plastic bottles, cans and other materials into tablets.
Tearing principle: Some shredders have hooks or tooth structures. When the knife shaft rotates, these hooks or tooth structures will grab the material and tear it apart. They are suitable for processing fiber, rubber and other materials with certain toughness, such as waste tires, waste clothes, etc.
Extrusion principle: The gap between the knife shafts and the pressure of the blades on the material are used to squeeze and crush the material. For some materials that are hard but not particularly hard, such as hard plastics, wood, etc., the extrusion effect can make the material broken into small pieces under pressure.
The structure of the MRF shredder:
Feeding system: generally includes components such as feed hoppers and conveyor belts. Its function is to evenly and stably transport the materials to be processed into the crushing system to ensure that the materials can continuously enter the shredder for processing.
Crushing system: It is the core part of the shredder, consisting of knife shafts, blades, crushing chambers, etc. The knife shaft rotates at high speed driven by the power system, and the blades shear, tear and squeeze the materials to break the materials into smaller particles.
Screening system: used to screen the crushed materials, usually composed of a screen or a screening device. Only materials that meet the size requirements can pass through the screen and enter the next process, while larger particles will be left on the screen and continue to be crushed in the crushing system to ensure the uniformity of the output particle size.
Power system: mainly powered by an electric motor or a hydraulic motor, which transmits power to the cutter shaft through a coupling, a reducer and other transmission devices, so that the cutter shaft can rotate at the required speed to provide sufficient energy for the crushed materials.
Control system: used to control the start, stop, speed adjustment, fault alarm and other functions of the shredder. The operator can monitor and adjust the operating status of the shredder through the control system to ensure the normal operation and safe production of the equipment.
Final Products:
The material processing process of the MRF factory is centered on "classification - purification - recycling". Through the standardized process of "mechanical crushing - multi-level sorting - cleaning and processing - packaging and transportation", the efficient use of recyclables is achieved. With the upgrading of technology, automated sorting and intelligent management gradually replace traditional manual operations, which not only improves recycling efficiency (such as purity of more than 95%), but also reduces labor costs and environmental pollution. The processing process of materials of different materials needs to be adjusted in a targeted manner to adapt to their physical and chemical properties, and ultimately serve the goal of the circular economy.
