Working principle of waste plastic cans optical sorting machine:
The operation of the optical sorting machine is based on the closed-loop process of "optical signal acquisition-image analysis-intelligent execution". The specific principles are as follows:
1. Material pretreatment and transportation
After pretreatment such as crushing, cleaning, and drying, the materials to be sorted (such as plastic bottles and cans) enter the detection area in an orderly manner through a conveyor belt or vibrating feeder to ensure that the materials pass through the optical detection point in a single flow state.
2. Optical signal acquisition
Light source irradiation: The equipment is equipped with a dedicated light source (such as LED white light, infrared light, ultraviolet light), and the wavelength is selected according to the characteristics of different materials. For example:
Infrared light is used to distinguish plastic materials (PET, PE, PP, etc., different materials have different absorption and reflection characteristics of infrared light);
Visible light is used to identify color differences (such as transparent plastic bottles, brown bottles, silver cans).
Image capture: High-speed CCD/CMOS image sensors collect optical images of materials in real time, and simultaneously record color, brightness, reflectivity, surface texture and other characteristics (such as the difference between the metallic luster of cans and the transparent characteristics of plastic bottles).

1. Plastic materials
Complete plastic bottles: mineral water bottles (PET), beverage bottles (PET/PE), cooking oil barrels (HDPE), shampoo bottles (PP), etc., sorted by material, color, and transparency.
Broken plastic flakes: Flake materials after plastic bottles are broken, remove label paper, metal cap residues, and glass fragments, and classify them by material (PET flakes, PE flakes).
Recycled plastic particles: particles after plastic bottles are recycled and granulated, detect color uniformity and impurities (black particles, foreign matter), and improve particle quality.
2. Metal packaging
