Working Principle
The machine uses LED array or halogen lamp to emit a stable light source covering visible light to near-infrared band (400-1100nm), irradiating the waste plastic particles/fragments evenly arranged through the vibrating feeder to produce reflected or transmitted light.
The optical lens group focuses the light signal to a high-resolution sensor (CCD/CMOS or photodiode) to capture the color, texture, shape and spectral characteristics of the material in real time (different plastics have different reflection/absorption characteristics of light).
