Refuse-derived fuel (RDF) technology involves crushing and sorting waste to remove non-combustible materials like metals and glass. The remaining combustible materials (plastics, fibers, rubber, wood, etc.) are crushed, dried, mixed with additives, and densely molded into solid fuel briquettes.

1. Waste is first crushed by a coarse crusher, then non-combustible materials are separated using magnetic separation, screens, and air separators.
2. Combustible materials undergo secondary crushing in a fine crusher before drying to reduce moisture content to 10%.
3. The dried material is compressed into briquettes using a high-pressure molding machine.
