Vehicles Shredder Scrap Metal Processing Plant Automobile Shredding And Separation Machine
Working principle of Automobile Shredder:
Dual-axis layout: Two main shafts are arranged in parallel, and staggered meshing blades (made of high-strength wear-resistant alloy, such as Cr12MoV) are installed on the shafts. The blades are spiral or toothed to ensure that the shear force is evenly distributed during tearing.
Hydraulic auxiliary system: Equipped with hydraulic push rods to push the car into the crushing chamber, while squeezing elastic materials such as tires and seats to prevent winding around the main shaft; some models contain pre-flattening devices to flatten the body shell to improve crushing efficiency.
Power system: Use high-power motors (100-500kW) with reducers, and some models are combined with hydraulic drives to automatically adjust the speed according to the load (such as reducing the speed and increasing the torque when encountering high-strength components) to avoid motor overload.
Intelligent control: Equipped with a PLC control system, real-time monitoring of the crushing chamber temperature and current load, automatic shutdown protection when abnormal, support remote control and fault warning.

The automobile crushing and sorting line is an automated production line for the resource processing of scrapped automobiles. Through the integrated process of "crushing - screening - sorting", the whole vehicle is disassembled into recyclable materials such as metal (steel, aluminum, copper, etc.) and non-metal (plastic, rubber, glass). End-of-Life Vehicles (ELV) Bodies crushing and sorting workflow:
Crushing stage:
Coarse crushing: Use jaw crushers and other equipment to preliminarily crush the car crushing residues, and break down larger lumps into smaller pieces for subsequent processing.
Fine crushing: Use hammer crushers, impact crushers, etc. to further crush the coarse crushed materials into smaller particles, so that metals and non-metallic materials can be better separated.
Sorting stage:
Magnetic separation: Use magnetic separators to separate ferromagnetic metals such as iron and steel from the crushed materials. The magnetic separator uses a strong magnetic field to adsorb ferromagnetic metal particles and separate them from other non-magnetic materials.
Eddy current sorting: For non-ferromagnetic non-ferrous metals such as aluminum and copper, eddy current separators are usually used for separation. The eddy current separator uses an alternating magnetic field to generate eddy currents in non-ferrous metals, thereby generating a repulsive force to separate non-ferrous metals from the material.
Wind separation: Use wind separation equipment to separate non-metallic materials with lower density, such as plastics, rubber, fibers, etc. from metal materials using airflow. The airflow blows away lightweight non-metallic materials, while heavier metal particles remain in the equipment or are collected in a specific area.
